NEXCOM’s entry-level NDiS B337 slim computer has a unique blend of carefully chosen features for semi-outdoor smart city and smart edge applications. Leveraging the low power consumption of the Intel® J3455 Celeron® CPU, the NDiS B337 wide temperature computer can handle -20 to 60°C, and with its slimline design of only 40mm is compact enough for space-constrained environments like factory automation, surveillance, retail, and smart city
At the heart of the NDiS B337 industrial fanless computer is the Intel® J3455 Celeron® CPU, with a 10W TDP that allows fanless operation with minimum power consumption in an extended temperature range from -20 – 60°C. The NDiS B337 has 2 x HDMI 1.4 ports for multi-display support on up to two separate displays, supports 1 x DDR3L up to 8GB, 1 x DDR3L up to 8G, 1 x M.2 2242 slot for a storage module, and a mini-PCIe slot for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/LTE wireless module (SIM card slot on mainboard).
Indoor applications of many sorts are supported due to the design of the NDiS B337. In the doctor’s office the NDiS B337 can be used as signage in entrance areas or as a computer for supporting telehealth, telemedicine, and virtual consultations where as in retail, the NDiS B337 can be used as retail signage or to support a digital price tag system, where the price tags are updated automatically through technology, and automatic stock counting is possible.
DooH applications are well supported by the NDiS B337, requiring only an enclosure to protect the NDiS B337 from rain, dirt, and direct sunlight. Outdoor signage applications include smart signage that uses facial detection to show relevant information to users, a wayfinding station to provide information on nearby attractions, or the passenger information display at train or bus stations
